BTDP – Secure PaaS platform on Google Cloud
To enhance the security and agility of its data platforms, L'Oréal launched the development of a PaaS solution based on Google Cloud. The challenge was to provide an automated and industrializable cloud foundation capable of serving multiple internal data teams. The project also aimed to unify identity management between Azure AD and GCP.
Project objectives
- Provide a secure, ready-to-use PaaS environment for data teams.
- Automate the deployment and management of cloud services.
- Ensure fine-grained governance of access and data in a multi-cloud environment.

Key Steps
Development of internal APIs with FastAPI and Flask for service provisioning.
Automation of infrastructure via Terraform and GCP Workflows.
Integration of identity federation between Azure Active Directory and GCP IAM.
Implementation of data workflows on BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Firestore.
